Learn in a MINI

My name is Kevin Wise, I am a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Driving Instructor. I am a non smoker.

Learn in a MINI was launched on the 10th May 2007. Previously I operated under franchise with the AA Driving School but ever since I started in this business I aimed to start a Driving School that would offer something a little different.

I have been driving for over 27 years and have driven many hundreds of thousands of miles in that time. I learned to drive in a Red Mini, owned two others in my early driving days and am delighted to be able to offer a fantastic learning to drive experience in one today. 

Previously a retail manager, I trained with the highly qualified Nigel Dawson at Excelsior Training in Staffordshire in 2006 and passed the 3 qualifying exams all at the first attempt.

My aim is to provide the best quality training that I can and enhance it with superb customer service. I will take great care to ensure that your learning to drive experience is enjoyable and that you get full value for money.

I plan all lessons in advance, match the routes to your ability with just the right amount of challenge and note all positive learning points as well as analyse your faults during and at the end of every lesson. Your progress will be recorded using the DSA Driver's Record to ensure that you cover the full syllabus of learning to drive

I have produced unique photographic training aids to accelerate the learning process and give you the opportunity to prepare for and make the most of your lesson time.

Above all, I am passionate about driving, teaching others to drive well and giving great service.
